In the second part of the multipart/mixed message there is:

That looks like it would quality as "Sender:" in the text, wouldn't it?

Why don't you suggest to the poster that he switch from multipart/mixed
to text/plain?  If hes is sending only text there is no reason to use
multipart/mixed.
