The LISTSERV is operated on a host by the name of MAIL.EWORLD.COM.
That host is served by TWO Mail eXchangers (according to DiG):

mail3.online.apple.com (most preferred)
mail2.online.apple.com (least preferred)

The lookup of hostname-to-IP address is handled by 4 DNS servers:

APPLE.COM
COLOSSUS.APPLE.COM
HP1.ONLINE.APPLE.COM
HP3.ONLINE.APPLE.COM

The first three are currently responding (and are consistent
wrt MX and A records). The last is non-responsive to DiG, but
is responding to PING.

Both MX hosts support the RFC protocol for EHLO. The
most preferred host responds thus to EXPN and VRFY:

expn listserv
250 <"|/usr/local/bin/lsv_amin /users/listserv/spool listserv"@mail3.online.app
e.com>
vrfy listserv
250 <[log in to unmask]>

The least preferred does not recognize LISTSERV (and presumably forwards
to the most preferred when it is available, unless there is an MX config
problem with MAIL2.'s SENDMAIL).

You could try some sample e-mails to: [log in to unmask]
                                  and [log in to unmask]

noting the RECEIVED line headers and timestamps.
