I'm assuming L-Soft is referring to the sending of commands that exceed the
wraparound limits of mailers.  If a command with a long user or list name
exceeds this limit the mailer will break the text across two lines.
LISTSERV will then interpret this as two commands on seperate lines instead
of one long command.

Unless L-Losft has any other particular reason for limiting the Listname to
32 characters I don't see any reason why you couldn't use the "//<space>
<text string>," contiuation syntax when sending commands to said list (see
sec. 4.1.3. in List Owner's Manual 1.8d).

Does anyone else know why this might not work?
