Dan:

It is extremely difficult to arm-chair quarterback this since the info
provided is summary in nature due in part to the default configuration of
your list with the use of the Daily Error Montor.

Based upon my limited external information available to me,
[log in to unmask] distributes mail (to you) from the following hosts
(in sequential order):

6.1.9.147.in-addr.arpa PTR atlanta.american.edu
18.1.9.147.in-addr.arpa PTR hiroshima.american.edu
FREZZA.ORG MX 10 mail1.industrynet.net (which ids itself as
news.industrynet.net)

(Interesting, the mail host news.industrynet.net has a different IP
address which does NOT respond to MAIL -- but that may be either here nor
there.)

UNLESS you get a better answer, you should temporarily reconfigure your
list so that it now has the list definition keyword:

*  Auto-delete= NO

so that you can "see" the bounces in a clearer fashion e.g., where the
client SMTP is.

/Pete

|Dear Listowners,
|
| I need some help to determine what direction I should go.
Yesterday I
|posted this, but I have received no help or direction. This is very unusual,
|since this morning, now for the second day, the exact same number of
|subscribers showed up on the monitor sheet and the errors increased over
|yesterday from 3 to 6, with the exception of me, 4, below.
|
| I've sent a letter to the person in charge of the listserv at
american.edu
|but I am afraid, no one is around since it is the weekend.
|
| I'v received three postings from others on the list below, BUT,
two postings
|I've made, in the last 24 hours, hasn't appeared to the group.
|
| I am not sure what's going on, but it appears something has
happened to
|block off so many people. I've never experienced this kind of problem.
|
| Your suggestions, any, would be helpful.
