Friends, Countrymen, Fellow List owners -- (apologies to Shakespear)
I'm getting some heat from those who pay the bills to migrate the
listserv from a UNIX machine to a Microsoft Windows NT machine. Before I
make any moves, I'd like to get more information on the subject.
- what machines does your listserv run on (how many listservs are being
run from NT machines, versus UNIX (or even VMS) machines).
- if your listserv runs on NT, what machine takes care of the
actual mailing (an NT machine, or do the jobs get forwarded to a
high end computer?)
Thanks for your time
