Sherry mentioned using ADD, but the manner she speaks of changes only
the "name," it does not change the subscription address
([log in to unmask] Douglas Winship becomes , via an ADD

If the address itself has changed a new subscription is required and the
old one should be deleted. The subscriber can do the former but the
listowner may have to do the latter as the subscriber may no longer be
able to unsubscribe. LISTSERV pays no attention to "names," only
addresses.
