For someone smarter than me-
Background: bit.listserv.lawsch-l is a gated newsgroup, and set as
moderated. The "moderator" is the mailing list [log in to unmask]
Theoretically, someone posts to the newsgroup, the group emails the post to
the mailing list for confirmation. When the mailing list distributes the
mail, the copy that goes to the Usenet gateway is supposed to constitute
permission to propagate the message.

here are the headers from an approved message in bit.listserv.lawsch-l:

My question: What is the purpose of the Comments: To:
[log in to unmask] Since that is NOT the moderator's address
(it should be [log in to unmask]). Does anyone have any idea? Could this
be causing all my problems?

TIA,
