Now I am confused.  I assumewd that all an enterprising and persistent
individual has to do to get out from under NOPOST and similar restrictions
is to signoff and subscribe again--unless subscription is set to confirm,
and that didn't seem to be the case.  I agree that "... they can change
the setting themselves" is an ambivalent comment.
