It's possible, but it's not conformant to Internet standards.  RFC821 et
seq. say that the case of domain names is irrelevant.  LISTSERV servers
pick one case (upper) to store all domain names so they don't have to do
case-independant comparisons when matching them.
 
If your subscriber is on some other type of system with a gateway to and
from the Interet, that other system (not bound by Internet standards) may
indeed be case-sensitive, but it is the responsibility of their gateway to
make any adjustments between the Internet standards on the Internet side
and whatever local conventions may be on the other side.
