Same question (see below) to the list -- with additional information:

The newsgroup server that I want the list to be have a gateway to is a
PRIVATE newsgroup server.  This means it requires authentication (user
ID and
password).  Can the listserver gateway software handle that?  Does the
EASE
listserver software include the gateway, or is this something that I'd
have
to come up with?

You could do it, but you would have to do the setup and ensure that you
