We had/have a slightly different problem:
 
We had trouble where a university generic name
[log in to unmask]
was used to subscribe, but the listserv would only post messages after we
changed the login ID to the more specific name of
[log in to unmask]
 
We run on Missou and have have more problems since July 1.
