I feel that the editing of archives has much more to do with saving storage
and deleteing subsequent spam, and overly quoted messages--not to mention
that the subject line of the email rarly has much relevence a half dozen
posts later, in some threads.

 I have placed all my archives in "owner" access only, due to the
uselessness of the archives because of the above reasons until I could fix
them.

I would like to edit the list archives. Is this something that could be
easilit achieved by following the manual or is it much more involved that
it would seem?
