It sounds like that fellow is treading right along the boundary line of
what is allowable behavior.  My own personal feeling is that he's on the
wrong side of the line.  I'd recommend that if you haven't heard back from
him within a 'reasonable' amount of time (which should be a brief period
since money is probably on its way to him now) you should forward his
original posting to the Listserv operators at his system, who may feel
that they have a clear policy on the issue.  To get the identities and
addresses of those operators, send the command RELEASE to the Listserv in
question.
