        York University intends to discontinue VM/CMS
services within the next year or so. My List, PHILOSOP, has,
therefore, to move. A group from the University of Toronto
has arranged a new home for it there.
 
        My question: how big a project is moving a list? My
guess would be that Eric has written something that lets two
node-admins do the thing very quickly, but I don't know for
sure. (One problem for me is that York's first step toward
elimination of VM/CMS is outsourcing; so the splendid person
who looked after List-owners has been assigned to other
duties.)
 
        I don't recall seeing anything about this in the
info memos, but it's been years since I read them! If
there's a document that covers this - and if an owner needs
to be involved in the process - just point me to it.
