Here's one for y'all:

I used GET QUAKER-L FILELIST (CTL to get a copy of the FILELIST for my
quaker-l list so I could edit it for some new files. The FILELIST
included the log entries from the virtual filelist. When I sent the
edited file back to listserv with the LSVPUT QUAKER-L FILELIST (PUT
command, I got a message saying it had added all of the log files to the
FILELIST. When I retrieved it again and deleted them from the filelist
(so they would not all be listed twice every time someone did an INDEX
QUAKER-L) I was told I could not delete a file from the FILELIST that
still existed on the disk. Of course, I do not want to delete all the
LOG files! How can I get listserv to let me remove them from the
filelist, and just have them automatically add on from the virtual
filelist instead of listing twice?

Is this all clear as mud? It's late...

BTW, we are running v.1.7f
