There are "organizing committees" in Albany, Corning, Endicott, and Rochester,
and a functioning site in Buffalo.
 
How about paying $10 to $20 per month, and getting an account on a commercial
Internet Service Provider?  One major benefit is fewer "busy-signals" on the
dial-up lines, which is the plague of all FreeNet sites.
