The users are definately set for Digest.  I have gotten messages from
4 different users who reside at four different nodes.  According to
one user, this started at 5:00am Oct 5, 1994.  I think our Listserv
person is going into the logs now......

I'm not aware of the newspaper column....but do know that the particular
list (Roadmap) now has 51,000 subscribers to it.  It had to be split into
three different lists (2 closed, one open for subscriptions).  :-)
