No, there's no way to turn that off (at least, as an Owner). Personally,
I find that to be important information, and wouldn't want it gone.

My recommendation would be to do what many moderated newsgroups do. If
it's important that the public know that the Moderator is not approving
of the content, mention something in the list's BOTTOM_BANNER or in the
Welcome/Info files somewhere.
