This may be true, strictly, but I don't see why it's an either-or:

It's still a big step to filter out attachments, which, when the
right combination of programs are involved, don't require the user to
_do_ anything. In spite of the fact that it won't cure the world's
ills, bring on 1.8e with all speed.
