Re: Mac support

Yes, we are actively porting InfoMagnet to the Mac, as well as to
OS2 and X/Motif. In late fall you will see the release of
InfoMagnet muliplatform, available in multiple languages. We
currently plan for Spanish support, with versions for German,
French and Portuguese dependent on demand. We are also considering
other languages.

At that point all the platforms will have a single consistent
version which works identically on all of them. All future versions
will be derived from this cross platform version, and be released
simultaneously on all supported platforms.

As far as Mac server support goes, Apple's PowerPC servers, to be
released in the Fall, are to support IBM's workplace shell, with,
I believe, AIX as a possible "personality." I may be wrong on this
(it wouldn't be the 1st time) but this should mean that LISTSERV
will work on Macs by using the IBM/Apple approved "workplace
shell" running on PowerPCs.
