Configure the list with 'Send= Editor', rather than 'Send= Editor,Hold'.

The latter causes LISTSERV to send a posting approval request to the list
moderator(s). Your only choices are to approve the posting or let it die.

The former causes LISTSERV to simply forward the message to the list
moderator(s) with instructions to either resend the message to the list,
or edit the message and forward it to the list.

If your email client supports 'redirection', you can send the message to
the list with the original sender's return address. Some email clients,
such as Eudora, allow you to edit the message you are redirecting. Some
email clients, such as Thunderbird with the redirect extension, do not
allow you to edit the message you are redirecting.

If your email client does not support redirection, you can simply forward
the message to the list address. Virtually all email clients allow you to
edit the message you are forwarding.

In my opinion, if you intend to edit the message, you should forward the
message, rather than redirect it. If you edit the message, it is no longer
the original sender's message, it is your message, and it should be posted
with your return address. But that is just my opinion.
