Even 4 days is not enough. Sendmail has a long discussion about what
happens if there is a long weekend etc.

I run a very small list (25 users) but I frequently see good
subscribers disappearing for as much as 14 days. "Mailbox full" is a
big culprit - esp. with dialup shell account users who have a small
mailbox.
