The same is true of librarians, even cataloging specialists who are the
most detail oriented nit-pickers you could hope to find.  BUT, and it is
important, that attention to minute detail applies ONLY to their field.
If it is not their precise field they are as sloppy and imprecise as
anyone else.

This is no surprise. "The Web," Netscape, MS-Explorer, etc. are designed
precisely for those who do not want to know.  If they could not point
and click they would not be subscribers, they may not ever have bought
a computer.
