Hi all,
 
     I am trying to set up a new listserv server (version 1.8b running on
     Win NT) and am trying to set up a new test list.  I sent several
     headers as found in the online owner's manual, but nothing seems to be
     happening.  The server says it is processing the request (it has been
     for several hours.)  I sent the header incorrectly the first time and
     received an error message back, so I know it is communicating with me.
 
     How long should it take to create the new list?  Is there a way to
     find the status of the request?
 
     I'm assuming I would get a notification when the list is created.
     When I send the "list" command I get the reply that there aren't any
     lists created.
