FTP is an internationally recognized file transport protocol supported on
a vast array of different operating systems.
 
If one has a workstation, it takes a window, that's all. I normally have a
dozen or so windows open at any given time, reflecting a dozen or so tasks
I am carrying out in parallel. If time was a criteria in accomplishing any
given administrative task, I'd never even read my email.
