One possibility you might want to consider is setting your list's
"Subscription" keyword so only you can subscribe people to the list. Then
delete the subscriptions of people you do not want on the list. You can
handle subscription requests on your own that way and probably avoid the
need to review certain subscribers' postings for approval.
