Just wondering what methods other list owners use to alert their
fellow list owners of action they've taken on requests sent to the
listname-l-request address.

I co-own with 2 other people a 100 message-per-day list with 550
subscribers. Mail comes to the listname-l-request mailbox fairly
frequently, and we sometimes trip over one another as we all reply
to the same message by adding/dropping/modifying subscriptions at
the same time. Of course, we can always cc: our response messages
BACK to the listname-l-request address, but that just repeats the
loop and generates the extra acknowledgement message from the
server.

Any thoughts?
