I've broken down and added MX records for domains just because they were 
getting blocked by brain dead spam filters complaining because they had no 
MX record.  At least there, there was a rejection message complaining 
about the lack of MX record and you know exactly what would address the 
issue.  And it doesn't exactly break any standards...
