LISTSERV is a  trademark for L-Soft's product. ListProc used  to refer to
itself  as "unix  listserv", but  this was  changed to  ListProc after  I
complained. So, some  ListProc old timers might still  say "listserv" for
what they are running, because this is  what it used to call itself. They
should definitely call it ListProc, for the reasons you mentioned.
