To delete a file from the filelist, the recommended method is to PUT an
empty file by that name. But what exactly does listserv consider empty?

I did it successfully with my old mailer, but when I try the same thing
with a new mailer listserv puts a one-line file instead of deleting. Maybe
the new mailer adds an extra newline at the end of my message without
telling me, but I can't do anything about that. I don't have a signature
file. Shouldn't listserv consider a file consisting of just a newline as
empty?

Any suggestions for deleting my file?

Nicolas
