Can someone help me decypher the looping message below that resulted
from my Help-Net list? I cannot seem to find anyone in the subscription
list who is at rwzl10.zld.rws.nl or sun4nl.nluug.nl.

NuPop is not for a LAN. That is how it is very often used, but it can read
mail from any pop server on the Internet. You just need an account, and to
set up the parameters correctly. QVT allows you to telnet and ftp, which are
the two biggest activites performed on the Internet, along with email. Both
of these packages are geared towards individual users, and both use TCP/IP,
which if I read your question correctly, is what you want. Perhaps I am not
understanding what you want to do, but I have used both of these packages to
do just exactly what you have asked for.
