I wanted to signoff from a mailing list, so I've been sending the
signoff command for more than a month now.  I get an automatic reply
stating that the list in question is not under automatic control,
and that my request has been forwarded to the list owner(s): ...
Believe it or not, I am still not signed out!
 
Obviously, the owner(s) of this list are not doing their job!  Are
there any sanctions for such behavior.  I don't want to sue anybody,
I just want to unsubscribe from the .... list!
