There's a question that was posted here last December to which I've not
seen a reply:
 
Does Unix Listserv currently offer no functional INDEX procedure?  Since
DATABASE is not yet enabled on Unix Listserv, it would seem that INDEX
retrieval would also not work.  The Listserv which hosts one of my lists
is shifting to Unix tomorrow and I want to forewarn my subscribers what
to expect.
