You can rename the files, but you have to name them back.  The safer thing to
do if you plan on PUTTING those archives on the list is to make your
modifications and save to another file, leaving the original intact just in case.

You can also open Notepad and then drag the file from explorer into the Notepad
window and it will read it in.

I'm not a powershell expert, so this may not be the best solution, but in a
nutshell, find the folder of the log in file explorer.  Press the Shift key and
then right click on the folder on the left hand side of the file explorer
window and then select "Open Powershell Window Here"

 From there you can run a command called "findstr".
findstr /? will list all the options but in the simplest form, you would type
in: findstr <yoursearchstring> *

It is case sensitive in this format, but it will display any matches and the
files the string was found in.
