It is the result of using the RTF (Rich Text Format) option in MS
Exchange.  They need to turn this off.  When replying to an email,
they need to click on the "To:" address field and then they will find
an option to disable RTF for that email.  They will need to do this
every time they reply unless they set up an address book entry for
your list address where they can specify "No RTF" as the default.
