This is true.  AOL made this change approx 6 months ago.  No names are sent
regardless of how the user configures their mail.  Only the address is sent.

Yes.  When the incoming mail is address-only and has the descriptive name
field blank (always true for AOL mail now) AND you have a full name, with that
address, in the LISTSERV subscription info for the list, then LISTSERV will
take the name from the Sub info and add it to the blank name field on the
From: line when it processes the mail for distribution.

Delete the user from your list.  Send the command  REGISTER OFF FOR
[log in to unmask]  Then add them to the list with slightly different
capitalization for their userID address.  If it was  [log in to unmask], then add
them as [log in to unmask]  (small f)  LISTSERV will see such an address as
slightly different and will not attempt to assign the old name to that
address.  This will not affect the user receiving mail nor them from posting
to the list.
