        My list is having a similar problem.  Except that the message *does*
        get posted, and sometime later the original poster receives the
        'rejected because it's a duplicate' message.
 
        I'm also getting a spate of longtime subscribers suddenly finding that
        the listserv doesn't recognize them.  Invariably, they originally
        subbed as Bitnet addresses and now usually appear to be Internet, but
        the Brown listserv has never had a problem making that translation
        before.  My 'solution' has been to add their Internet addresses, set
        nomail, but that's rather unsatisfying.
