Thanks, Ben. And let me take this opportunity to thank you (and L-Soft) for
generously providing the server space for the VISBAS-BEGINNERS list. I'll
set this only for a short time (maybe 30 minutes) and turn it off. That
should give us enough time to track down the account.

iname.com is a well known mail-forwarding service, as is usa.net,
globecomm.net,
and some others. This is how he/she is subscribed.

Here's the "iname.net" subscribers:

There are 2 ways to deal with this. One is simply delete all the iname.com
subscribers. This of course cuts off the good as well as the bad, but if
it's
an average list, only 2 of the 5 will likely complain, which means you had 2
other dead weights.

If you are a nice guy however and willing to do a little detective work, try
this command:

QUIET SET listname FULL822 FOR *@INAME.COM

This changes how messages are sent for these users, putting the subscribed
address in the To: field. Then ask the user to forward the next list mail,
so
you can see the address as subscribed that he/she receives. Then it's easy
to
remove the proper one. Don't forget to reverse the above with the command:

QUIET SET listname FULLHDR FOR *@INAME.COM

Do not leave people set to FULL822 for very long and do this only for a few
subscribers at a time, otherwise it will have a noticeable and severely
negative
impact on the server performance. Since the server is question for this
list is
one of ours, we like to keep it running smoothly as possible.
