I have a user who is sending an HTML format e-mail to their list. (No
debates, please; that's what they want to do.) They compose the message
in Microsoft Word, then paste it into Outlook for editing and sending.
The message looks fine when sent to other Outlook users, and even
through Listserv to their list. However, when sent through Listserv,
the message appears with "bonus" attachments, image files that somehow
get detached from the HTML. The message itself appears normally, and
the "extra" image attachments appear to be alternate views of images in
the HTML message.

Does anyone know how this might be avoided? Is this a consequence of
the Word-into-Outlook workflow, or is there some Listserv setting that
might prevent it? Any advice on the best way to create an HTML mail and
send it through Listserv would be appreciated. Thanks!
