You could also gain in time and convenience if you dumped the gun safe
and just put the magnum under your pillow, tied your seat-belts in a
knot behind the seats and kept your roller skates handy on the stairs.
Oh, wait.  That last one might have some "unforeseen" consequences.  ;-)
