Odd.  I've been receiving and sending 900+KB files with Pegasus with
minimal problems.  Minimal meaning it can be deadly slow.  This is on
a Pentium Classic 133, Pegasus v3.12c.  I do all my editing with THE
(The Hessling Editor) in XEDIT mode (because several years ago I needed
something IBM-like in a hurry), and have used it on files in the 10 to
40MB range without problems.  Maybe Pegasus became more robust in the
newer versions?
