| Hey, it was bad enough that the guy posted the whole stupid thing.
| And it was fine that John and Natalie and others sent him appropriate
| notes.  But I WAS rather amazed that John REPOSTED the whole damn thing
| to this list.  I didn't need to see it AGAIN (for a ninth time, I think)
| to know what note John was talking about.

     There was some method in my madness, Dan  :-)
 
     First, not all listowners were as "privileged" as you and Natalie and
I to get to see the cross-posting in question  :-)  Second, I intentionally
placed it at the *end* of my posting so that those of us who *had* seen it
could skip seeing it again.  Third, by posting it to LstOwn-L, this incident
(which is one of the worst I've seen in the years I've been a listowner) is
recorded for posterity in the Archives logfile -- in case anyone ever has
occasion to need documentation of crossposting no-no's.
 
     My apologies if my madness was more obvious to you than my method  :-)
