Pardon me, but ANTIGEN stinks. Why? Because it makes assumptions and
will assert that there is an attachment when none is present, and will
state that the nonexistent attachment was a virus, and then let you
you know how valiantly it has pursued and defeated nothing. RAV
pulls the same sort of stunt.

An 'antivirus' program which goes by guesses, which both ANTIGEN and RAV
do, rather than actually checking to see if there is an attachment truly
present (neither do), and then checking to see if the attachment contains
a virus (of course they don't do that as there is no attachment, but that
doesn't matter, far as they are concerned) kills items which are no threat.
Such things are worse than useless. Douglas [log in to unmask]
