Yes, Elena, there really are listowners who love LISTSERV, love Eric,
and love his acerbic wit when it is used to the fullest (it's been
a while, so he needs some prodding; might want to check the archives).
 
I don't use a gun for squirrels, a slingshot is quite adequate.  We have
a good crop of them this year so I will be glad to get a couple for a
nice stew for you, just let me know when you'll be here.  If you like
you may try your hand at it.  But I must insist you leave the spiders,
scorpions, wasps etc. strictly alone as they are pets.  Oh, and no
snakes; you might hurt Sam and I wouldn't want a liability lawsuit
from you being bitten by my "pet" rattlesnake because you attacked him
(he'll carry on a nice conversation with you if you like, just don't
startle him).  If you want deer you'll have to wait until the fall,
when it is the proper season.  So, when would be convenient for you?
Let me know and I'll give you instructions for getting here from
either Austin or San Antonio.
