Additionally, it has been happening since last year (at least) on a
rather large list that I co-operate.
 
Seemingly, it has only occurred on Internet addresses delivered by
PSUVM's SMTP, as opposed to via PSUVM's MAILER to a bitnet/internet gw
(at least as far as I am aware, but I'm not associated with the
operation of the PSUVM system, nor employed by them).
 
I don't think it is restricted to LISTSERV-induced distributions
either i.e., I think it occurs on "normal" Internet e-mail.
