I have just installed listserv classic on a Solaris 7 computer
running Netscape Enterprise Server (version 3.63). All of the
recommended patches have been installed on the machine.
The listserv account seems to work with simple commands
(i.e.: THANKS, INFO, VERSION, etc).

I have created a new list ([log in to unmask]). Yes, I created all
eight users in Netscape's Admin gui. I've enabled program execution
in the admin server, and have created a trusted directory
(/usr/netscape/suitespot/trusted) for program execution. I have
a symlink in this directory pointing to /usr/bin/lsv_amin, which is
setuid listserv, and is owned and grouped in 'listserv'. My program
line in the admin server for each account is of the form:
    /BB/lsv_amin /SSS name
where BB is the directory where the lsv_amin program was installed,
SSS is the listserv spool directory, and name is the particular user
name
(one of eight) for the mail account.

My question is (finally Steve :-) when I send email to
[log in to unmask] from another netscape mail user, I get the
following
error messages in my listserv log:

Does anyone have any successful experience in configuring listserv
1.8d classis with Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6? Or could this be
a permissions problem? How could I get more detailed error messages
here? I'm almost ready to scrap everything and start again (I still got

'til next June to play around with this stuff before the license expires

. . .).

Frustrated,
