I administer a file server which has subscriptions to zillions of email
lists. It files articles based on the file name and origin ID returned
by the CP Q RDR and TAG QU commands. Now I see a number of lists are
sending email which has an origin ID of OWNER-xx@whatever (where 'xx' is
the first 2 characters of the list name) instead of the actual list
name. So I can no longer distinguish between, say, INFONETS and INFO-APP.
Is this a temporary glitch or does someone really believe this new
naming system is worth keeping?
