I note that some LISTSERV sites are BACKBONE but not DISTRIBUTE
in the LISTSERV PEERS db.  Having searched the lstown-l notebook
archives for these two terms by sender=ERIC, I'm not really sure
what the 4 combinations of attributes mean.
 
I could conjecture that the BACKBONE option relates server-to-server
and DISTRIBUTE is the final Server-to-end-user(s), but that really
doesn't explain it.
 
If you can either briefly tell me, point me to better notebooks
or search arguments, I'd appreciate it.
