InfoSeek asked to copy the archived messages of all individuals who
have posted to the list and charge access to them in an indexed format.
Now, if I made all of those thousands of messages, or obtained prior
permission of all authors to have their writings be used by a company in
this fashion, I would feel that I would be in the position to give them
the permission they have asked for. Since neither is the case, I don't
believe I have the right nor authority to give such approval. I doubt that
I would actively seek to prevent their doing so should they choose to do
so without my permission, however.
