I don't belong to any association; I don't have a lawyer; I don't get paid
for what I do. I just wanted some general, layman's advice about the topic
of copyright. I have since searched some university websites and found out
that we all were thinking along the right lines.
I'm going to leave it up to those in charge, who host the list, to decide
what to do. They will be the ones to actually enforce their policies.
Thanks to everyone for the advice!

Legal questions are beyond the scope of the advise one should expect
to receive via the LSTOWN-L list. You need to contact your
organization's legal counsel to discuss your legal questions.
